Trinidad and Tobago's pre-pandemic ICT policy included an ambitious digitalisation drive to foster economic development and advance digital government. However, the onset of the pandemic gave the country a fresh impetus to develop its digital ecosystem and roll out innovative solutions to respond to the crisis. With a new Ministry of Digital Transformation leading digitalisation efforts, government policy has become more coordinated. At the same time, partnerships between public actors such as iGovTT and private entities are contributing to economic growth and providing citizens with access to key government services.
