Advisory

Drawing on more than two decades of experience in producing detailed investment and economic guides, Oxford Business Group (OBG) is able to produce bespoke and confidential reports and services for a wide variety of clients.

These range from sector and market reports that identify the opportunities, the entrenched players, the tax and legal environment and pitfalls in specific areas. Each report is researched and written by specialist OBG analysts from the countries themselves.

Using OBG’s global network of offices in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, OBG Advisory offers on-the-ground research, market intelligence and advice to corporate, NGO and governmental clients currently operating in emerging markets and those looking to enter them.

The department also provides professional expertise in writing, editing and producing reports in English from material supplied by the clients.

  • Economic & Sovereign Advising

A separate division of OBG, Advisory has built up a number of high profile public and private sector clients who require in-depth economic forecasts and strategies. At times working in concert with some of the world’s biggest consulting agencies, teams of OBG analysts have produced the original text for major government strategies, as well as drawn on OBG’s extensive publishing experience to design and produce the finished documents.

These commissions have included writing “Economic Vision” development documents of 200+ pages covering strategic planning for up to two decades in the future. Other OBG services include factually checking and editing policy agendas, as well as designing these through to finished product status. OBG Consulting is currently in the process of researching and writing an investors’ guide for a major Middle East government department.

In the private sector, OBG Consulting has produced detailed economic briefings on 14 countries to be used as background material for the launch of a major investment fund. The division is able to call on the resources of the seasoned analysts who produce OBG’s economic and investment guides for more than 30 countries and territories throughout the world.
