Education

Kevin studied History and Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley, and subsequently obtained a Master's of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago and a Master's of Studies in Oriental Studies from the University of Oxford.

Work History

Originally from the US, Kevin speaks English, Arabic and Persian (Farsi). He joined OBG in 2016 and is currently based in Cairo, having previously worked in the company's offices in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.

Working with OBG has given Kevin the opportunity to live and work across a dynamic region at a time of real economic transformation. It has also given him the opportunity to meet and interview some of the world's leading political figures, the most recent of which was President Abdel Fattah El Sisi of Egypt.

Previously, Kevin worked as a freelance analyst and writer covering the Middle East.

Kevin is passionate about sport and travel, and spends a lot of his free time discovering the historical and cultural sites across Egypt and neighbouring countries.
