Karine gained a DESS of Marketing and Communication Management from Assas University, followed by a Masters of Communication and External Relations from the Sorbonne, both in Paris.
As the Managing Director for Africa, Karine speaks French, English and Spanish, and has travelled the region extensively. She joined OBG in 2003 and has overseen the production of countless economic inteligence reports in the years since.
Karine ensures the smooth running of all research and advisory projects in the region. Alongside the Regional Editor for Africa, she identifies countries with attractive investment opportunities and is instrumental in opening new markets for the company.
Before joining OBG, Karine worked for UNICEF in the marketing and fundraising department.
Karine is an experienced Latin dancer and brings this passion to everything she does.
